June 15, 2017 Sheriff's Reports

June 1: 9:31 am: Foot Patrol – 35000 block, Camp Creek Rd.

10:13 am: Reckless Driving – Deerhorn Rd. & McK. Hwy. Caller advises two log trucks are bypassing scales on McK. Hwy. They were driving too fast on Holden Creek Lane when caller tried to get out of driveway. Involved is a red truck, short logger, 2 trailers & a blue truck.

10:54 am: Lost Property – 59000 block, N. Belknap Springs Rd. Caller lost a kayak in the Fish Ladder Rapids about 2 miles upriver. Caller’s boat flipped & he swam to shore. Boat kept going downriver. Involved is a blue inflatable kayak. Value: $500. It has a dry bag with pump, sunscreen & water bottle inside.

2;47 pm: Reckless Driving – Walterville area. Involved is a 2012 Ford Escape that is speeding, weaving in & out of traffic in excess of 100 mph. Subject nearly caused caller to go into ditch, just cut off an LTD bus. OSP advised.

5:34 pm: Disturbance, Dispute – 38000 block, McK. Hwy. Mom is telling involved to go & liver somewhere else, then changing her mind. Involved just got close up to her face.

6:24 pm: Threat, Harassment – 51000 block, Dexter St. Subject was hitting herself & caller said needed someone to get there. 19:29: 91000 block, Mill Creek Rd. Subject is in parking lot trying to start fights with everyone. She keeps saying she is going of the deep end. Involved is 5’ 8”, 165 – 170 lbs, dark brown hair, wearing pink top & blue jean shorts. 19:39: Per OSP she is attempting to jump into traffic.

7:12 pm: Disturbance, Disorder-ly Subject – 91000 block, Mill Creek Rd. Female is returning some cans & bottles & has calmed down somewhat.

June 2: 3:29 pm: Missing Person – Hayden Bridge Rd. Caller is a friend of involved who was near a rocky ledge. Involved wasn’t feeling good. When caller came back he couldn’t locate her. Unconfirmed if she fell in the water or not. Involved was last seen 10 – 15 minutes ago. 23:54: Caller did hear a scream, believes he saw her fall & splash in the water with someone swimming around. 00:32: Fire Dept. is launching a rescue boat. 07:57: Missing Person email sent.

6:16 pm: Abandoned Vehicle – Deerhorn Rd. & Tiki Lane. Report of a beige Buick Lacrosse that has been sitting on the side of the road for 24 hrs. unoccupied.

7:12 pm: Disturbance, Dispute – 45000 block, McK. Hwy. Complainant  reports  a  verbal ar-

gument between a grandma & granddaughter – no injury or physical contact, just the granddaughter yelling.

June 3: 11:20 am: Theft – 56000 block, McK. Hwy. Taken: chainsaw.

4:03 pm: Assist, Information – 52000 block, McK. Hwy.

4:51 pm: Weapon, Shots Fired – 92000 block, Marcola Rd. Report of target shooters on the Cash Creek power line. Shots started 10 minutes ago, bullets flew past caller’s home. She is afraid stray bullets may hit her horses - recurring issue.

6:45 pm: Burglary – 51000 block, Blue River Dr. Caller reports 2 witnesses observed fe-male subject inside residence. Complainant was storing some of her property at location. Missing: 2 cameras & other items.

June 4: 1:04 am: Suspicious Conditions – Deer Creek Rd. & McK. Hwy. Complainant was camping at the site, woke up to a male crouching in her tent. He said, “You’re either going to give it to me or I’m going to take it.” Caller had a conversation with the subject. He ended up apologizing & then leaving in an unknown van. Subject told caller he used to be a broker – currently works in the marijuana business.

1:05 am: Weapon, Shots Fired – 8800 block, McK. Hwy. Report of a large party – bonfire, shots being fired & vehicles driving reckless in a field.

8:40 am: Civil Service – 8000 block, Thurston Rd.

10:13 am: Disturbance, Disord-erly Subject – 51000 block, Dexter St.

11:23 am: Vehicle Stop – Mc-Gowan Creek Rd. & Donna Rd.

1:31 pm: Found Contraband – 91000 block, Donna Rd. Involved is a large RX bottle filled with what looks like meth located in parking lot & brought in by a customer. 13:55: Seized contraband.

4:15 pm: Stranded Vehicle – USFS Rd. #15. Couple in a red Chevy Trailblazer has been stuck in about a foot of snow for a few hours. They have water, no food. Caller had to drive down to get cell service – broke a rope when he tried to tow them out. They are buried up to the frame.

9:08 pm: Assist Fire Dept. – Blue River Rd. & Marbrook Ln.

10:44 pm: Disturbance, Dispute – 38000 block, Railroad Ln. Caller vs. roommate. Caller says renter took a swing at him. He grabbed the renter by the throat when he swung out at him.

June 5: 11:09 am: Disturbance, Dispute – 8800 block, McK. Hwy. Subject says he has bruises on his arm from desk shoving incident.

4:45 pm: Welfare Check – 8100 block, Thurston Rd. Caller has attempted to call Mom for past 3 days & no answer.

6:49 pm: Reckless Driving – Marcola Rd. & Hill Rd. Vehicle was following caller too close, had many opportunities to pass & never did. Involved is a white Ford F250 with orange light over the driver & fuel tank in back.

10:57 pm: Assist, Shots Fired – 92000 block, Marcola Rd. Caller heard 1 shot across from the Post Office, wants to remain anonymous as possible, doesn’t want retaliation from involved. Possible shotgun was discharged. Residence has been without power for the past couple of months.

12:21 pm: Burglary 1, Theft 1, Criminal Mischief 2 – 37000 block, Camp Creek Rd. Stolen property includes 2 firearms.

June 6: 11:01 am: Traffic Hazard – 9000 block, McK. Hwy. Report of 2 horses on the roadway.

1:59 pm: Vehicle Stop – 91000 block, Donna Rd.

2:23 pm: Threat, Harassment – 50000 block, McK. Hwy.

4:02 pm: MVA – 36000 block, Camp Creek Rd. 2 vehicles involved, 1 in the ditch. There are some injuries, 1 transported to RiverBend already. White Toyota Corolla is on its top, will need equipment to flip it.

4:16 pm: Civil Standby – 8800 block, McK. Hwy.

June 7: 9:48 am: Theft From Vehicle – 35000 block, Camp Creek Rd. Stolen from vehicle: tools, wallet with credit cards, machete, jacket & business book. Value: $1,500.

12:26 am: Weapon, Armed Subject – 89000 block, Marcola Rd. Staff member initially went to chase down a runaway juvenile, at the end of the driveway said “They” have a gun. Complainant heard yelling in the background, phone went dead. 00:36: Building secure, will remain until deputies contact caller. 00:36: Weapon secured.

4:38 pm: Alarm – 88000 block, Grand View Dr.
