Chainsaw Art Festival

The second annual McKenzie River Chainsaw Festival will be held from Thursday, August 14th, through Sunday, August 17th, at the McKenzie River Community Track in Finn Rock. Carvers will begin their work on Thursday, when admission is free. From Friday - Sunday admission is $3 and includes a raffle ticket. Friday events include a quick carve session, classic car show and music by Three Finger Jack. On Saturday carvers will be busy all day. Kids activities will include a painting workshop, 3K walk/run and tree climbing. On Sunday the winning ticket for the Keith Steele drift boat will be drawn at noon (separate entry from the admission ticket), carvers will finish their entries and people can bid in an auction to purchase their favorite sculptures.
