Aug. 15: 1:20 PM: Reckless Endangering – Shotgun Creek area. Report of subjects shooting in the direction of crew of 5 loggers. 14:34: Patrol check – unfounded for now.

Aug. 15: 2:04 PM: Suspicious Conditions – Upper Johnson Creek Rd. & McK. Hwy. Involved is a subject driving an older maroon Chevy Astro or Dodge sleeper van. Caller believes they are “tweakers.” 1 had a camo headscarf, 1 had medium length curly hair, all have tattoos. Subjects went on EWEB property with ATV’s, guns, shovels & buckets. Johnson Creek is a private road. All had different stories when asked for a reason why they were on the road. Info relayed.

Aug. 16: 3:52 PM: Theft – 49000 block, McK. Hwy. Complainant had someone staying at the house while he was at the Oregon Jamboree. Taken: jewelry. Value: $2,000. Citizen self report.

Aug. 17: 12:41 AM: Gunshot Wound – 40000 block, Deerhorn Rd. Victim at McKenzie Willamette Hospital is not being forthcoming with information. No location given, said it happened at a bar earlier tonight. 01:58: No response at door – broken glass & liquid on the floor. There is a trail of blood inside, unknown if from dispute. A pair of female flip-flops is at the front door. 02:11: Vehicle came up driveway, involved states he was shot by his brother. 05:23: Parents of involved are arriving home. Report taken.

Aug. 17: 6:12 AM: Injury Accident – 93000 block, Marcola Rd. Single vehicle into a ditch to avoid a deer. 3 teenage males appear to be in a state of shock, 2 are bleeding from the head. There is heavy front-end damage to vehicle into a tree. OSP advised.

Aug. 17: 8:57 PM: Speeding Motorcycle – Mp. 6, Marcola Rd. Attempting to stop speeding motorcycle at speeds of 82 mph on the wrong side of the road. 21:04: Crossing county line, Sweet Home PD advised. 21:31: Sweet Home has 1 in custody. Info taken.

Aug. 18: 12:38 AM: Subject Down – McK. View Dr. & Coburg Rd. Report of a subject wearing gray clothing lying against the concrete in a fetal position. 00:51: Subject is not at location anymore. Info relayed.

Aug. 18: 4:46 PM: Illegal Camping – McK. Hwy. & Holden Creek Lane. Caller says 3 young males & 1 female are camping below the road in a gully. Shopping carts are visible at the intersection. Caller says they are all wearing black. Info relayed.

Aug. 18: 7:03 PM: Burglary – 39000 block, Deerhorn Rd. Complainant reports someone broke into house, stole cash & broke the front door down – can’t see anything else was taken. Report taken.

Aug. 18: 7:24 PM: Illegal Camping – Goodpasture Rd. & Marten Rapids Park. Complainant reports 3 involved: a 35 – 45 year old balding male, teenager around 14 & a boy about 10. They are fishing & a tent is set up. Info relayed.

Aug. 19: 2:23 PM: Suspicious Conditions – 45000 block, N. Gate Creek Rd. Caller is smelling smoke & hearing 2 – 3 people on the roof. She was told to evacuate but said she is afraid to do so. 14:31: Investigating – nothing showing. Info taken.

Aug. 19: 3:01 PM: Family Dispute – 44000 block, McK. Hwy. Caller is yelling that she has bruises all over her body. Male is saying, “No you don’t.” Caller then said, “Never mind,” & disconnected. 15:24: Caller is back on the line, wants to cancel response because she doesn’t want to get kicked out. Welfare check.

Aug. 19: 10:01 PM: Criminal Trespass - 7900  block, Nearly naked female just came into complainant’s house & jumped in his bed. Caller is now out front, female is still inside, refusing to leave. She is girlfriend of guy who takes care of caller’s animals. Complainant called him & he says he can’t do anything about it. Caller believes female is on something. She is about 50 years old. Unable to locate.

Aug. 20: 1:33 PM: Rescue Operation – McK. Hwy. & USFS Rd. #2600730. Test Call *** Earthquake near Smith Dam Reservoir caused landslide to go into dam – failure imminent. OSP & ODOT to evacuate campgrounds: Olallie, Belknap Springs & Paradise. 14:19: Via EWEB drill has concluded. Info relayed.
