Old McKenzie Pass has reopened
On April 24th, ODOT crews had cleared a single lane to the summit of the Old McKenzie Pass Highway - at the Dee Wright Observatory - from the east gate. Two days later the East side access to Dee Wright was available to pedestrians and bicyclists only. And, on May 1st, the entire length of the Old McKenzie Pass Highway was opened up for cyclists and pedestrians only. People are reminded to be careful and obey the rules of the road. Motor vehicle access not yet authorized.
