Make the McKenzie Connection!

Start off the day with a great breakfast

Tent breakfastThe scene will be an improvement over the 2011 breakfast.

Have a great breakfast followed by a fun day. The McKenzie Fire and Rescue Volunteers Association will be holding their annual Fisherman’s Breakfast to kick-off the opening day of fishing season on Saturday, April 27. The volunteer association has hosted the breakfast for over 30 years as a fund raiser for the association. The money raised from the breakfast goes back into the community to help families at Christmas time and for other special needs projects as designated by the association. Volunteers do all the cooking and serving. This is a great opportunity to get a great meal before going out for a day of fishing or just to enjoy a great breakfast with family and friends. The breakfast will be served from 5 am until 11 am at the Leaburg Training Center, 42870 McKenzie Highway. On the menu: Pancakes, eggs, and sausage or bacon, with juice, milk, or coffee. The breakfast is $6 for adults and $4 for children. Raffle tickets for great donated items will also be available.
