basketball

Our boys and girls girls basketball were busy last week. They both took on Falls City and came away victorious. Our boys then traveled to Eddyville and picked up their first league win of the season. Both teams then traveled to Condon/Wheeler for a tournament where they each suffered two setbacks while giving a valiant effort. Another busy week awaits as our boys host Mapleton on Tuesday before the boys and girls travel to the North Douglas Tournament. During the winter break they'll travel to Portland for three days to take part in the 1A Hoops Classic.

Last week was the start of our high school basketball season, and it was a busy week. Our boys finished the week 1-2 with a win over Trinity Lutheran. Our girls went 2-1 and captured the tournament title at Yoncalla with wins over Yoncalla and Lowell. Buggy Hiddleston and Katey Totten were selected to the All-tournament team.
This will be another busy week with our boys playing 4 games and our girls with 3. We host Falls City on Tuesday for an OSAA Endowment game. (League Passes will not be accepted for this contest.)
Thanks for your continued support of our eagles.

I hope everyone had a relaxing Thanksgiving break. Now that I have my  winter weight on, I'm ready for the cold months ahead.

The middle school girls basketball will travel on 12/2 which is a change  from their original 12/3 date.

This is the opening week of the high school basketball season as we host  Trinity Lutheran on Wednesday. I look forward to seeing some of you out  supporting our Eagles.

The end of a fantastic fall athletic season has come to a close. Our
football team ended their season with a convincing win at Alsea to
finish the season at 2-7. Thank you all for the support.
On Saturday our middle school volleyball team won the MWL middle school
tournament by defeating Alsea in 3 exciting sets.
Also on Saturday our High School volleyball team made the long trek to
Dufur to take on the Rangers for a 2nd round OSAA state playoff match.
It was an exciting match, but in the end Dufur came out victorious.
