Heavy Rain, Wind and Flooding Predicted: Visitors Discouraged from Visiting Forest this Weekend 

Forest Supervisor Meg Mitchell is encouraging folks to stay home this weekend and avoid traveling in the Willamette National Forest.

12/4/12 ODOT crews in Lane County today were busy responding to weather related issues affecting state highways

On US 101, approximately 12 miles north of Florence, crews were called out at 3:16 a.m. to remove a large tree that had fallen across the highway and into utility lines.  One lane was reopened at 7:39 a.m. and the highway was fully reopened at 11:18 a.m.
