The Eugene Water & Electric Board’s expedited work plan at Leaburg Dam includes bringing the No. 2 roll gate back into operation. Crews began removing the top three rows of the wooden bulkhead today, January 9th. On Saturday, the contractor and EWEB operations and engineering staff will be conducting some testing of the No. 2 roll gate. Starting at about 1 p.m. on Saturday, the bridge over the dam will be closed to all pedestrians and vehicles.
