Willamalane climbing wall A climbing open house is set for May 4, at the Willamalane Center, 250 S. 32nd St. in Springfield. The free event - for all ages - runs from 1 to 4 p.m. Participants will learn tips, tricks and see demos from climbing experts. Willamalane’s 33-foot high, 41-foot wide climbing wall features steep and expansive terrain for face and crack climbing. There is also a 12-foot bouldering wall.
