    Experienced Wolves Wallop Eagles The Days Creek Wolves handed the host McKenzie Eagles a 60-20 thumping last Friday night in the non-league 2013 season opener for both 8-man football teams. The Wolves senior led team dominated the relatively inexperienced Eagles, who finished the game with 8 players on the field due to injury and ineligibility issues.     Walterville parade It will be “Fair Day” on September 7th. The Walterville Grange plans to be “All Ducked Out” for the 63rd annual Walterville Community Fair. The event will have a new schedule this year so be sure to plan ahead. An added feature this year will be the Walterville Waddle 5K run/walk starting at 8 a.m. People can register early by contacting the McKenzie River Nursery or between 6:45 and 7:45 the morning of the race with a small entry fee.
