Storm clouds parted last Friday in time for revelers to enjoy Walterville Elementary’s 50th annual School Carnival. Hundreds of lower River and Camp Creek folk showed up to enjoy the barbecue, petting zoo, game booths and the opportunity to play with some humongous soap bubbles.

An impressive line up of Detroit iron turned out for the show & shine of classic cars, ranging from the 30’s through the 80’s.
Wowing most everyone was this highly modified AMC Javelin that belied its humble origins, especially under the hood.
