Make the McKenzie Connection!
The 4-H positive youth development program invites you to their Lane County 4-H Tack Sale on Saturday, January 18th. at the Oregon Horse Center on Prairie Road in Eugene. The sale is a special fundraiser to build back 4-H youth programs in Lane County and will particularly allow offering horse projects and 4-H horse events in Lane County this year. Over 50 vendors from all over Western and Southern Oregon have signed up. The sale runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 18th. Admission is $2 per person and 8 years or under are free.
“It’s a wonderful way to spend the day!” said Jean Sirotek, 4-H Leader and organizer of the event, “If it’s horse related—you’ll find it!” Vendors will be offering everything from blanket repair, equine insurance, the latest styles of show clothes, portable corrals, jewelry, mud control products, and lots of tack. Vendors are coming from Corvallis, Medford, and Sisters, as well as local businesses. The ‘Feed Room’ at the Oregon Horse Center will be open with food to purchase (for humans!).
