Make the McKenzie Connection!
Last week our boys and girls both took down Alsea before the girls knocked off Triangle Lake while the boys faltered.
At the end of the regular season our girls finished in 1st place with a record of 7-1. The boys finished tied for 4th at 6-8.
This week our boys will host Alsea on Monday with a chance to keep their season alive with a victory. If they come out on top, they'll travel to Mapleton on Wednesday. The winner of that game will advance to the MWL Championships to be held at Northwest Christian University's Morse Event Center on Saturday 2/21/15.
Our girls have already qualified to compete for the League Championship at NCU. The outcome of their game will determine their seed to the OSAA State Championships.
I invite everyone out to NCU on Saturday. The MWL championships are always a great display of the best talent in the MWL and is sure to be exciting. Admission to the event:
Adults: $5
Students w/student body card: $3
Students w/o Student body card: $4
Students K-8: $1
Senior Citizens (60+): $3
I hope you all have a great week and I look forward to seeing you at NCU on Saturday.
GO EAGLES!
