The City of Springfield welcomes the Gryffs Pub to the community! With a soft opening on May 13th and the Grand Opening in late June, the accolades are already rolling in: “Great food. Hip atmosphere. Creative cuisine. Large portions. Classic cocktails.” “…the staff is over the top good!”

Ashley Summers (Founder and Owner of Gryffs Pub) was born and raised outside of Eugene in Elmira. Ashley was the eldest of 16, with most of her younger siblings adopted by her loving and giving parents! While Ashley went to Southern Oregon University and Lane Community College to graduate in health care administration; after a couple of years in the industry, she realized that her passion was in the restaurant business - as waitress, bartender and graduating to management. After ten years with the Traxler Group and ending up as the General Manager at The Poor House Tavern, it was decision time for her future! With a tremendous amount of faith, good working habits and a desire to succeed, she opened Gryffs Pub!

While many people choose a name from family or location, Ashley chose Gryffs (Her German Shepherd companion). The site for Gryffs Pub started out being Bob’s Burgers, then eventually a sushi restaurant and now Gryffs Pub: 720 S. A Street, Springfield. Her dream is to create the perfect “hangout” for young and old alike….but no minors! Special nights include: Monday “Wingo,” Tuesday taco and margaritas, Wednesday burger and brew and Sunday service–related industry specials.

Starting on August 16th, Gryffs Pub will also be serving breakfast (Friday – Sunday) opening at 8 am! Come and be a part of this new enterprise: OPEN Sunday – Thursday 11-11 and 11 – Midnight on Friday and Saturday (except breakfast hours starting 8/16). 541-650-6677.
