McKenzie Varsity Sports Schedule This Week

The McKenzie Varsity Volleyball match versus Mannahouse Academy, scheduled for Wednesday, September 14, has been canceled. The Eagle Varsity Volleyball team travels to Eddyville Charter on Tuesday, September 20, for a 6:00 pm contest. The McKenzie Varsity Six-man Football team travels to Mapleton, Friday, September 16. Kickoff is slated for 7:00 pm.

Eagle, Wolf Contest Thrown A Red Flag!

Hot, dry, low humidity, high East Winds, and power shut off throughout the region to protect from fire starts. The fore-mentioned extreme weather factors precipitated (not wet mind you) a Red Flag Warning last Friday and Saturday. The Red Flag thrown down canceled the McKenzie Eagle six-man football contest at Finn Rock with the visiting Days Creek Wolves. Currently, that game has not been rescheduled.

Eagle Volleyball Drops Two

The McKenzie Varsity Volleyball team traveled to Crow last Tuesday, September 6. The Eagles won the first set, 25-16, but the Cougars won the last three sets, 25-17, 26-16, and 25-19 to win the match.

The Triangle Lake Lakers rolled into downtown Finn Rock, Monday, September 12 and took home a 3-0 victory over the host Eagles. The Lakers won 25-17, 25-23, and 25-14. McKenzie is currently 0-4 in Mountain West League play.
